REFRANES Y DICHOS:  There are thousands of refranes y dichos en español.  Popular sayings / proverbs.  It's fun to see how they compare to similar sayings we use in English.   Example:  El hábito no hace el monje.  The habit doesn't make the monk.   In English we might say, The clothes don't make the man   or   Don't judge a book by its cover.
